Received today the privilege here in Amman to meet Mahhmood who is Syrian refugee and spends much of his time helping children who have fared badly during the war in Syria. He takes us to a family who had their homes bombed.
The children have scars from burns to hands, legs and feet plus they also experienced the scenes that children should definitely not see when relatives die before their eyes. I am impressed by the joy children have entrusted all the misery and an incredibly nice atmosphere is what happens when Mahhmood picks up balloons and face crayons out of his backpack.
There are very many impressive people down here that with small means doing what they can to improve the lives of war children.
