Yesterday me and my friend Ulf Tebelius visited a village just outside the large refugee camp Zaatari refugee camp in northern Jordan 1,5 mil from the Syrian border and got the opportunity to meet a family that came over the border two years ago. The war in Syria has forced over 3.8 million people to flee their homeland for protection in neighboring countries.
Half of them are children.
Thousands of Syrian families have fled across the border to Jordan. It is the worst refugee crisis in modern times. Many of those who have fled the war have lost everything they own and seen their families killed and had houses destroyed by bombs.
